Message I have ZERO concerns in regards to the stock roll bar. Some people have commented before my accident that it was purely cosmetic and it absolutely is not. It is certainly functional and then some.

My accident happened on the driver's side of the car, right behind the driver's door. It was a direct impact at ~50mph to a light pole which hit the post of the roll bar. That being said, the roll bar was compromised and actually pinched in the middle a bit (see below):

The roll bar still did what it was intended to do and held the weight of the car.

BUT....my concern is the A-frame. Looking at the picture below it looks bad there. That is SilverTwin(OH) who is about 4-5 inches shorter than me and he is not sitting in any kind of booster seat.

The main problem here is what can be done about that? I would love to see suggestions/ideas.

So, in summary, the roll bar's got your back but the A-frame doesn't. If you ever get in that situation, duck but keep yourself away from the windshield as much as possible
